New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR...
LET US RENEW OUR WAYS.

As we all resort to wishing a happy new year to all, Let us first learn to make the future happy:

I havent posted a single 'Happy new year' post. I do wish that all of us have a great year ahead. But first, we MUST learn. 2014 was a year of turmoil. A year of floods and fires, wars and victims, like all years are. And, like all years, we begin 2015 by adding to the woes of our children to come.

How often do we think, as we blame terrorists or the terrors of nature's fury, of the terrors of our own vile, silly, unfortunate and absolutely avoidable deeds?

How often did we use single-use #polythene bags in the past year? We can buy that favourite jacket, but not a jute bag to carry?

How often did we litter?

How many plastic bottles did we use as we consumed our favourite beverage?

How many disposable Styrofoam cups did we use for our 'coffee to go'?

How many fire crackers did we burn to celebrate the end and mark the beginning of another year? Another year to cry for blast victims and scorn rapists.

When will we cry for our selves!?
When will we take responsibility for our actions!?

THE #SOLUTION IS EASY!

Can we not replace plastic bottles with #cans ?
Can we not replace polythene bags with #jute ?
Can we not #recycle old clothes and fabrics to create useful carry bags?
Can we not replace #Styrofoam with baked-earth pots or some compressed paper product?
Can we not replace #firework with #lasershow

MAN HAS FOREVER BEEN INVENTING.
WE CAN INVENT REPLACEMENT FOR EACH OF THE POLLUTANTS.

NECESSITY IS THE MOTHER OF ALL INVENTIONS, THEY SAY.

AND THIS MAKES ME WONDER, "DO WE NOT SEE THE NEED TO BE NATURE FRIENDLY? WHAT WILL IT TAKE FOR US TO WAKE UP?"

*Reshare this if you care.
Reshare if you plan on being a little more nature friendly.
Reshare if you would like our governments to take action.
Reshare if you wish this post may reach our MNCs.
Reshare #BanMan *

Good luck to us.
